This article is intriguing because it was written by one of history's most renowned scientists with the purpose of clearing the mystery concerning the conflict between religion and science. Einstein was a convinced scientists, but this did not prevent him from acknowledging situations when religion had assisted the world of science and from realizing that religion was in many cases responsible for influencing people to come up with logical explanations to particular events.

This book presents a typical account concerning the relationship between science and religion. The fact that it uses thirty scholarly essays with the purpose to document the history of the topic while also introducing strong opinions supporting each of the two sides shows that the debate is still alive and that it is very difficult to support either side.

This book plays an important role in this essay because it contains a contemporary explanation concerning the relationship between science and religion. The fact that it is an easy read is meant to assist enthusiasts in accumulating information about the relationship between religion and science rapidly.

Ward's article relates to C.S. Lewis and to how he played an important role in the dilemma involving the relationship between science and religion through time through introducing elements that one can associate with information that is easy to understand. Lewis apparently wanted his readers to refrain from trying to understand science as being one hundred percent accurate and justifies his claim by relating to the series of paradigms that have been overthrown through time.
